3 Weight Loss Myths That Can Put Your Life in Danger


Are you tying to lose weight? If you are I am sure you have been doing a lot of reading on ways to lose weight, hoping to come across an unknown secret to take the weight off fast. I am sure you have found all sort of tips regarding weight loss. Some of them will work and some will not. If you have been over weight most of your life you already know that fad diets do not work. Weight loss supplements and pills do not work alone and it will take extra work to keep the weight off once you stop taking them. The tips that actually work are the ones that suggest diet along with exercise. The weight loss industry is casting out myths with misleading information. In this article you will read about 3 weight loss Myths.



1. Myth#1: You can reduce fat in only the areas you select: This is a myth because you can not force your body to reduce fat in only certain areas not matter which workout you do. Not at all true, and I am sure that any weight loss expert will unanimously agree to this. If you are only wanting to reduce your belly fat by doing crunches or leg lifts you will get a different result. Instead you will be reducing your muscle mass that is beneath your abdomen. Crunches and leg lifts are great but they should also be followed by a healthy diet to speed up your metabolic rate. It will help you burn the fat faster.

2. Myth#2: Eating a lot less calories will reduce your body fat: This myth has the result of a lot of crash dieters. People tend to eat a lot less thinking it will help them lose weight faster. They are not realizing they are only harming their bodies When this happens your body knows it isn’t getting the amount of food that is needed so it holds onto it. Your body slows down its metabolic rate to burn the muscle and will store the fat to produce the energy your body needs. This is why you get the result of gaining the weight back plus more!

3. Myth#3: If you only do Cardio exercises you lose weight: Yes, cardio exercises can help you lose fat, it is not true that this is the only type of weight loss exercises available; don't forget the aerobics. You will lose almost the same weight by doing Cardio or aerobics. Weight lifting is better than both cardio and aerobics, in that it not only helps you burn fat during the workout, but even after that!

Day One

Today is Decemeber 29th of 2009.  I woke up slightly after 10am.  I went ahead and stepped on the scale to see if there was a difference in my morning weight and my nightly weight.  There was a 2 lbs weight difference so I will start off with that weight.  53.5.  Yes, it would be nice to lose the 2 pounds each night.  I will be doing some research to see if there is a product that you can take that helps you lose weight while you sleep.  Maybe I will come across something natural instead of more products. 

I took my first dose of Slim Seduction and I'm drinking my 12 oz morning water and a cup of coffee.  I added one cube of sugar and not even a teaspoon of creamer which means I added 25 calories to my coffee.  I am not excited about having to start counting calories but I know I need too.  Once I get started I will know basically the calorie intake for the week since I plan on eatting the samething daily this week. 
I will be eatting soup and salad for lunch, coffee for breakfast and maybe some oatmeal.  Not sure for dinner.

My dad has been eatting meals you buy at the store and he has lost 35 lbs.  He looks great.  His goal is 50.  Mine on the other hand is more.  My small goal is 50.  Then I will probably want to lose another 25-35 more.  However I will be happy with getting my 30 lbs that I gain over this year after leaving my relationship and other home.  Yes a bad year for me.  But that was a year ago and I am making a new start.  Things in relationship have been ok for a few weeks.  Which is one reason I am ready to start losing the weight.  Plus I am wanting to get healthier and I think it will help with my body pains.  My father says his feet doesn't bother him any longer.

After I finish my glass of water (12 oz ) and my other pill ( stimerex ) I will do some movement.  I have work to do this afternoon.  I plan on getting my yoga ball to sit on while at the pc.  I work online so I am sitting down alot.

Weight Loss Journey

Good Evening.  Tonight I have decided this is it.  I have been slowly making changes to lose weight.  Now I will be keeping track of my progress by making an entry nightly.  I will be using my own short hand on certain subjects and titles.  This is a step in the right direction and a way to make myself accountable for my action.
I stepped on the scale so I know what my weight is at 10:12 pm on December 28th.  I will not step back on the scale until January 4th which is one week from tonight.  My first goal for this weel is 4 lbs.  I will be doing some sort of daily movement. ( movement?  Yes.)  I already started doing the tredmill and got moved back from that because of feet problems due to rearranging part of my house.  My feet are feeling better so I will start that back up.
55.5 ( short hand ). 

I be using two types of product to help me in this process.  The two products are:
Slim Seduction and Stimerex-ES
I have used both products off and one for awhile.  But this is a new start.  I will be taking them daily.
I will take 2 slim seductions twice a day and for the first week half a pill of the stimerex-es to get me started so I am not feeling too jittery.

I like the effect that Slim Seduction has on me.  It is The Shape of Temptation.  It  supports Accelerated Fat Loss, Boost Desire and Satisfaction, and end Excess Cravings.  You are required to drink lots of water while taking it which is a good thing anyway. 
The Stimerex-ES is good for Fat Burning and Energy.  When taking this pill in the whole form it is a little much for me at first that is why I am going to be taking half the pill once a day.  I will be working up slowly to the full dosage.  This is a great product and I am glad that I have a bottle.

First Insert for my Blog

March 18th 2009.
Tonight I have decided to start a Blog. I plan on blogging different items in this blog from what I am up to, to what I plan for the days to come. I have worked on a blog only a few times so this is a learning experience for me.
Up first is my plan to starting painting again. I have been watching Melrose Place and the art work on the walls of the set is very inspiring. I would also like to start writing again. My goal is to be able to paint something and sell it. That is something I have always wanted to do.
