Are you tying to lose weight? If you are I am sure you have been doing a lot of reading on ways to lose weight, hoping to come across an unknown secret to take the weight off fast. I am sure you have found all sort of tips regarding weight loss. Some of them will work and some will not. If you have been over weight most of your life you already know that fad diets do not work. 2. Myth#2: Eating a lot less calories will reduce your body fat: This myth has the result of a lot of crash dieters. People tend to eat a lot less thinking it will help them lose weight faster. They are not realizing they are only harming their bodies When this happens your body knows it isn’t getting the amount of food that is needed so it holds onto it. Your body slows down its metabolic rate to burn the muscle and will store the fat to produce the energy your body needs. This is why you get the result of gaining the weight back plus more!

3. Myth#3: If you only do Cardio exercises you lose weight: Yes, cardio exercises can help you lose fat, it is not true that this is the only type of weight loss exercises available; don't forget the aerobics. You will lose almost the same weight by doing Cardio or aerobics. Weight lifting is better than both cardio and aerobics, in that it not only helps you burn fat during the workout, but even after that!
